Ice Cream Birthday: Part 1

There are many things that are great about Stampin` Up products, but what I love most about SU is their suite of products that coordinates together perfectly. Starting from card stock, designer series paper, stamp set, thinlit dies, washi tape, ink pads and embellishments. This is very handy when you are hosting a party, takes the worry out of find material that works well together. Lets start by introducing the products used to decorate this party:

Here are some of the ways I have used the above SU products to make party deco.

Party Bubbles: decorated with tasty treat designer series paper and tasty treat washi tape. This is a great way to personalise your generic products to match your party theme.

Even a party blower can look the part with just a strip of washi tape.

I made about 50 tags total, which I used to lolly bags, and gift for classmates you'll see below

I even stamped on cutlery with a icy pole stick

Bookmarks for the party bags as thank you gifts

 Bookmarks, the finished look

Candy bar wrappers for the party bags

A thank you card for each guest with a personal message from the birthday boy himself

A birthday card I made for the birthday boy

Large tags to decorate the party bags with

I scored the top of the tag, wrapped it over the bag and placed a mini clothes clip to hold it place.
I decided not to stick it on because the front panel is the same size as a card front, people can use it later to make a card if they wish instead of throwing it away.

Gift for classmates and teachers on his actual birthday

No party is complete without a lolly bag

Napkin and cutlery holder

Some framed greetings using the tasty treat designer series paper

Decorated milk bottles for lemonade stand

Decorated mini water bottles for guests

Straw flags from a stip of washi tape

Stay tuned for Ice Cream Birthday: part 2 for more great party ideas and to see how it all came together on the day. Thanks for visiting, love to hear you thoughts.
