Stamped On Candles

Dabbling my hand at creating some home deco projects with pillar candles. I love that Stampin Up products are so versatile, there is really no limit to what you can create with them. This is what taking stamps to the next level looks like. All you need is a few of your favourite stamp sets and sheets of wax paper, and of course some pillar candles.

I stamped the image directly on the wax paper, ensuring the shiny side is facing up. It doesn't matter what colour combinations you chose, all of the SU ink pads works well on wax paper, it doesn't run or smudge, even on wax paper.

Once I stamped the images, I used a heat gun to adhere the wax paper on the surface of the candle. Moving the heat gun very slowly on the wax paper, allowing the candle wax underneath to soften just enough to absorb the wax paper, making it translucent, leaving the stamped image to stand out. I doing so, it makes it look as though the images are imprinted on the candle itself. A very simple and quick way to create designer looking candles.

I am an independent Stampin' Up Demonstrator with a wealth of experience in crafting in various forms. I am very grateful for your visit today, and I hope that you've enjoyed viewing my projects. Hope you can stop by again really soon.
